How can I request a taxi?

You can request one through our dispatch center at +34 828 111 999, via WhatsApp, from our website, or using the official mobile app.

Choose whichever option is most convenient for you.

Are taxis available 24 hours a day?

Yes, the service runs 24/7, 365 days a year. Taxis are usually available.

However, during peak demand, wait times may be a bit longer, though we will always handle your request as quickly as possible.

What are the fares?

Fares are regulated by the City Council and the Government of the Canary Islands and depend on the type of trip (urban or interurban), the time of day (day or night), and any surcharges (airport, luggage, public holidays, etc.).

Can I pay by card?

Yes, most taxis accept payment by bank card, mobile (contactless), or cash. If you need to be sure, you can mention it when requesting the service.

How can I know how much my trip will cost?

You can use our fare calculator on the website or app to see an approximate price before your journey.

Are taxis adapted for people with reduced mobility?

Yes, we have accessible vehicles (Eurotaxis) equipped for passengers with reduced mobility. We currently have 13 accessible vehicles, which is over 10% of the fleet—well above the average recommended by European guidelines.

We recommend requesting this type of vehicle in advance to ensure it’s available when you need it.

Can I book a taxi in advance?

Yes, you can book a taxi in advance through our official app or by phone. Just provide the date, time, and pickup point.

Please note that, depending on the time and fleet availability, certain vehicle types (for example, accessible vehicles or those with more than 4 seats) may not be available at night or depending on the duty roster.

In any case, we will always try to assign the most suitable vehicle and handle your request as soon as possible.

Can I request a larger taxi for several people or lots of luggage?

Yes, we have taxis with different capacities. Just indicate the number of passengers and bags when you make your request, and we’ll send the most suitable vehicle.

What should I do if I left something in the taxi?

If you forgot an item in the taxi, please contact our dispatch center with the date, approximate time, and the route you took.

If the service was requested via WhatsApp, the app, or the call center, it will be easier to locate the vehicle, since we keep a record of the license number and the assigned driver.

If you took the taxi directly from a stand, we recommend always noting the visible license number in the vehicle so it can be identified quickly.

We will do everything we can to help you recover it.

Where can I submit a complaint or suggestion?

At the end of your trip, if you requested the service through the app or WhatsApp, you can rate the service and leave a comment directly in the app or chat.

You can also submit your complaint or suggestion via the form on our official website puertotaxi.com, where it will be received and processed for review and response.

Additionally, if you prefer, you can file a formal complaint through the registry at the Puerto del Rosario Town Hall, which is the competent authority for municipal public transport.

Can I visit the Municipal Coordination Center office in person?

Yes, we have a public office where you can make inquiries, submit complaints or claims, or resolve any questions related to the service.
